Maurices came to Sync Marketing with the challenge of creating a custom social sweepstakes that also collected email opt-ins. To achieve this, Sync created a Pinterest sweepstakes that lived on the client’s website as an iFrame.
Due to recent policy changes within Pinterest, Sync recommended that entrants pin only images of Maurices product. This was a clear example of how Sync’s legal knowledge and expertise in social media law benefitted the client. Requiring only Maurices product images to be pinned resulted in more exposure for the brand across the Pinterest platform. There was a winner for each day of the promotion and all those who entered had the chance to win a $225 Maurcies gift card.
